LA PLAJA, CAMPANA E PETROLO
Plaja beach, also known as Golden Sands, is the largest beach and prevalent of the three city beaches (more than 1km long). Consists of thin sand and shallow sea bed, is the sought after destination for families with children. Is for more largely free and clean beach, but also they offer many services to tourists. There are: equipped beaches; restaurants; pizzerias; sandwich bars, bars etc. and there is also the possibility to rent pedal boats, canoes and surf. The water is clear and warm and gives the opportunity to touch the sea bed to very far. Castellammare has two other beautiful, but smaller beaches set right on the country: La Campana and Petrolo.
